How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Football season is going normally, unfortunately my team lost our last three games but we still have hope and confidence to continue to build step-by-step to make sure we succeed.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I haven’t been pleased yet. I sprained my ankle on our 2nd game week but on week 4 I am hopeful of coming back and putting numbers on the stat tracker.”
How do you feel your team has played?
“I feel my team has been playing hard since the summer but there would be times where we would lose that energy and just bring ourselves down but that’s never changed how I look at my team.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I feel like I can improve on having that strong energy and focus again to the point where I’m confident with every decision I can make on the field, even if I have to call my own shots.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The keys for my team being successful going on are making sure we all know what our role is and how we can do our part on the field to make sure it has an effect with the plays the coaches call.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Playing college football has always been my dream and my number one priority, especially going to highly-rated colleges.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been offered by Buena Vista University and hope that [during] my final high school football [season] that more opportunities will show up as I do big things.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“There are no schools right now that have been recruiting me the hardest but I’m still working on the process.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t made any college trips yet but I am hopeful to see some by the end of the season.”
Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I have been invited to a game at Adam State University so that is the main college trip. I am looking forward to [that] right now but [also to] any others [that] come throughout the season.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college has always been LSU because it’s my hometown (in Monroe and Baton Rouge).”
